The new Alajede of Ijede Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Hon) Adefarasin Saheed Hassan, the Ajanaku II, has assured the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Ikorodu, of maximum support in Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and the entire Division, in their quest to win the 2027 Presidential election for President Bola Tinubu.
Oba Adefarasin, who is the apex leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijede, gave the assurance to the Coordinator of the RHA, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, when he paid a courtesy visit to the royal father in his home on Monday.
The Alajede, who was a former two -term State Assembly lawmaker and ex- two – term Chairman, Ijede LCDA, emphasised that Ijede and the entire Ikorodu Division, will not only deliver the Presidential election for President Bola Tinubu come 2027, but also re – elected all the APC candidates.
Oba Adefarasin, who said that his relationship with Comrade Odesanya has come a long way, re – emphasised his support for him on his new assignment.
”You have been around since the beginning of this democratic dispensation and with this your new assignment, sky is not even your limit.
”You have made your contributions and paid your dues since your involvement in the activities of the party. So, I am not surprised that you have been considered for this assignment, and I have no doubt that you will deliver.
”You know that I have been part and parcel of the process since we have started this journey in 1996 during the time of UNDP, and later AD, AC, ACN and now APC. And if you know me very well, you would know that I am a supporter of Asiwaju Tinubu, and I thank God for his assistance concerning my position today. This was made possible by virtue of my involvement in politics all these years.
”I thank God that you are the one that the leaders have considered for the job, and I promise that we will support and recommend capable hands to work with you to deliver very well for Asiwaju Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, our representatives for Senate, House of Representatives, and the two House of Assembly members.
”Their elections are done deal and we won’t disappoint you, and we would make it easier for you to achieve.
Speaking earlier, Comrade Japheth Odesanya, congratulated the royal father on his emergence as the Alajede of Ijede, and informed him that he was visiting him as the apex APC leader in Ijede LCDA, to formally intimate him on his new assignment.
”We are here to pay homage and tell you about the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, and to inform you that just about two weeks ago, I was appointed as the Coordinator of RHA for the Ikorodu Federal Constituency. We are here to inform you as the apex leader in Ijede, because it’s a collective responsibility and not a one man thing.
”You know Asiwaju and his pattern of doing things; it must be all inclusive and that is what we represent. So, we have come to pay our homage and to inform you about the project
”We are all doing it together because it’s not a one man’s job, and we have to speak with our votes and you’re involved because of your relationship with Asiwaju Tinubu. We need you to assist us deliver not just Ijede LCDA, but the entirety of Ikorodu division.
He commended elected representatives in Ijede LCDA and Ikorodu Division at large for their quality representations which he said would make the political education of residents of Ikorodu, easier.
